Clearing the Optional Envelope Feeder:
Open the top cover.
Remove toner cartridge. WARNING! - Avoid touching the adjacent fusing area. It may be HOT.
Remove envelopes in this area by pulling them straight up and out of the printer.
Be sure to remove any pieces of torn paper. Lift both of the green user tabs and remove any envelopes that may be hidden.
You may need to remove any loaded envelopes and the optional envelope feeder to release envelopes or torn pieces of paper.
Replace the optional envelope feeder and toner cartridge and close the top cover.
